Delhi Police detained several protesters marching against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls towards the Election Commission headquarters on Friday, imposing restrictions on mass gatherings. Supported by Left organisations and activists, the demonstration accused the ECI of voter deletions and formed part of a nationwide campaign spanning 88 cities across 18 states.
