In a shocking incident, a female researcher from the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute has died due to severe pneumonia of unknown cause. Close to 200 people who could have been exposed are being carefully observed by health officials. It appears she accidently broke a test tube filled with live plague bacteria while working on experiments.
