Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh held discussions with representatives from Zenken Corporation and six Japanese welfare organizations. They visited Imphal for a recruitment drive at NSDC International Academy. Twelve candidates were selected for employment opportunities in Japan, where over 230 youths from Manipur currently work. The government plans to initiate training programs for truck and taxi drivers preparing for jobs in Japan.
