Tensions have escalated in Kamjong district, Manipur, following the burning of Khoikai Kuki village by suspected militants. More than 50 individuals have lost their lives due to ongoing ethnic clashes between the Kuki and Naga communities since early this year. Manipur's Director General of Police Mukesh Singh visited the district to enhance security coordination among forces addressing the unrest.
