Electricity supply disruptions across Gurugram on Thursday affected homes and industrial units as power sector employees protested against a proposed 25-year distribution licence for private firm Eleven Power. The unions have warned that the move could threaten jobs, increase costs for consumers and weaken the position of state-run DHBVN.
