Ericsson is working with the Indian government to encourage component suppliers to establish manufacturing bases in the country, CEO Andres Vicente told ET. The telecom equipment maker is also expanding exports, design capabilities and R&D in India, while developing technology to make satellites compatible directly with handsets and other devices.
