A vaccination drive was launched in two Gorakhpur villages after a cow died following unusual behaviour, raising fears of possible rabies exposure among people who had consumed a religious offering made using its milk. Health workers administered anti-rabies shots to around 450 residents as a precaution, though the animal's infection has not been confirmed.
